California Citizens For Health Freedom is a 501C-4 (political/non-partisan) non-profit organization. We were affiliated with the national office Citizens For Health but formed California Citizens for Health Freedom so we could focus on State Bills. We are grassroots advocacy organization committed to protecting and expanding consumer natural health choices. We initiate and monitor legislation with the goal of ensuring access to health information and the freedom to choose health treatments and supplements.

Our funding comes from donations (pledges) from citizens, some from physicians and small grants from health food companies. Our state administrative cost is extremely low. The President/ CEO, Frank Cuny serves primarily as full time volunteer. Most of our organization is a volunteer, grass roots citizens action organization .

Although expenses for staff is low, we still have expenses; phone, printing, mailing, travel, legal and consulting fees. Our political opposition is able to hire professional lobbyists, public relation firms, paid petition signature circulators, and make donations to legislatures' political funds.
