Our mission is to protect and expand the right of citizens to have access
to alternative medicine, natural treatments, natural nutritional products
and to have a toxic free environment.
We are the only citizens' 501-(C)4, non-profit legislative natural health
freedom advocacy grass roots organization maintaining an active presence
in the State Capitol. This enables us to:
*focus on California legislative issues, sponsor bills, testify before
committees, and monitor the thousands of bills presented each year.
*do advocacy in support of or against Federal Bills, this is important
because the California Congressional Delegation is the largest and
possible the most influential the nation.
*build support for our legislative goals by maintaining an active
involvement with other grassroots organizations that are active in the
Capitol.
*sponsor educational workshops in the Capitol for legislative personnel,
lobbyists, and leaders of organizations. To provide educational
material on a regular bases to key legislatures and their staff.
OUR CALIFORNIA STATE
LEGISLATIVE GOALS ARE TO:
*change the existing the very
restrictive state laws that limit the right of Californians to have access
to safe and effective alternative medicine that is available to citizens
in many other states.
*obtain legal clarification for change in the state
health codes that prevent physicians from offering safe alternative
effective treatment for cancer that is available to citizens in other
states.
*challenge and change the biases in the medical
community and state codes that prevent or limit licensed midwives from
offering their professional services to women in California.
*protect and extend the right of natural health
practitioners to offer their professional services in California.
*continue to oppose adding industrial toxic waste
productions (fluoridation) to public drinking water.
*continue work to phase out the use of toxic mercury in
dental amalgams.
OUR NATIONAL LEGISLATIVE
GOALS ARE:
To support the legislative efforts
on the Federal level that are within our mission statement. We
maintain a liaison with organizations that have a presence in Washington
D.C. ( See American Association for Health Freedom, National
Nutritional Foods Association, National Citizens for Health, National
